That’s why the book of Jude gives us a powerful battle plan:
“But you, dear friends, as you build yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting expectantly for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life.”
— Jude 1:20–21 (CSB) 📖
These verses show us how to rebuild when the enemy tries to tear our faith down.
That’s why I put Jude 1:20–21 to music.
When doubt, hurt, or discouragement try to push you out of the fight, having God’s Word wrapped in melody gives you something you can hold onto—something that lifts your spirit, steadies your mind, and keeps you strong. 🎶🔥📖
Today’s message walks through four keys Jude gives us to rebuild our faith and stand firm. And because each key is set to music, you can carry these truths wherever you go—so when the battle comes again, God’s Word is already in your heart and in your ears. 🎧📖💪
1. Build Yourself Up in Your Most Holy Faith 🏗️
Jude starts with a command: build yourselves up.
Even when you’re under attack…
Even when you feel drained…
Even when you feel like you’re barely hanging on…
You keep building. 💪
Stay in God’s Word 📖
Keep going to church ⛪
Stay in fellowship—no lone wolves 🐺
Keep memorizing Scripture ✍️
Keep reaching others, just like Jude 1:22–23 teaches:
“Have mercy on those who waver; save others by snatching them from the fire; have mercy on others but with fear, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.”
— Jude 1:22–23 (CSB) 📖
Your faith grows when you stay active, not passive.
2. Pray in the Holy Spirit 🙏🔥
Prayer is your lifeline.
When Jesus was under attack in the Garden, He prayed:
“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” — Matthew 26:39 (CSB)
Paul reminds us:
“Pray constantly.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (CSB)
Praying in the Spirit means surrendering—letting the Holy Spirit guide, strengthen, and steady you. 🕊️
Many people give up on prayer because God didn’t answer the way they expected. But His timing is not ours. Some prayers take time. Some prayers shape us before they change our situation.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep surrendering. 🙌
And to help you do that, I added Jesus’ prayer from the Garden to music at the end of the video—so when you can’t find the words, His words can steady you, strengthen you, and pull you back into the fight. 🎶🔥📖
3. Keep Yourself in the Love of God ❤️
Jude tells us to “keep yourselves in the love of God.”
This doesn’t mean earning God’s love.
It means staying in harmony with the love that’s already there. 🎵
Jesus illustrated this through the prodigal son:
“But while the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him.” — Luke 15:20 (CSB)
Don’t go prodigal.
You’ve spent years building spiritual strength—don’t give it up now.
Stay close. Stay connected. Stay loved. ❤️🔥
4. Wait Expectantly for the Mercy of Jesus 👑✨
Jude ends with a reminder of eternity:
One day, you will be with Jesus forever. 🌅
Revelation 21:1–7 (CSB) gives us this hope:
A new heaven and a new earth 🌍
God dwelling with His people
Every tear wiped away 😭➡️😊
No more death, grief, crying, or pain
Everything made new ✨
When you remember where you’re headed, it gives you strength for where you are.
Your Faith Is Valuable 🌿
Your faith isn’t failing.
Your faith is being targeted because it’s valuable.
And God has already given you everything you need to stand strong:
Build your faith
Pray in the Spirit
Stay in His love
Keep your eyes on eternity
